Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

FlowMate is a Lydia Studio product. By using the FlowMate website or mobile app (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FlowMate. If you are under 18, please use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Accounts

You can use FlowMate without an account. An account is needed to sync your sessions across devices and to subscribe to Pro. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

Subscriptions and Payments

Pro plans. Some features are only available to FlowMate Pro subscribers. Pricing and features are shown at the point of purchase.

Billing. Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe. iOS subscriptions are processed by Apple via the App Store, and Android subscriptions are processed by Google via Google Play. Mobile subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. The renewal fee is charged to your payment method on file.

Cancellation. You can cancel anytime: web subscriptions through your account's billing portal, iOS through your Apple ID subscription settings, and Android through Google Play subscription settings. You keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases are handled by Apple or Google. For web subscriptions, contact hello@lydiastud.io.

Your Content

Sessions, intents, notes, and other content you create in FlowMate belong to you. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your content solely so we can operate the Service for you.

Acceptable Use

We ask that you use FlowMate responsibly. Please do not:

  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Copy, modify, or distribute the app without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by law

No Medical Advice

FlowMate is a focus timer designed for time awareness. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you have concerns about focus, attention, or any health matter, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Intellectual Property

FlowMate, including its design, code, audio files, and content, is owned by Lydia Studio. You may use the Service for personal purposes, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Third Party Services

FlowMate relies on third-party providers to operate, including Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, OpenAI, Tally, and Expo. Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms.

Disclaimers

FlowMate is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We cannot guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, or free from data loss. Your use of FlowMate is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lydia Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of FlowMate. Our total liability is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months or USD $50.

Termination

You can stop using FlowMate at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if your use creates legal exposure for us. Sections that should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability) will continue to apply.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts in San Francisco County, California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of FlowMate after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
